1956 - 1989: Father Joseph P. Walsh - appointed Administrator in 1956 and then Parish Priest of St. Michael?s in 1958 (then responsible for St Bemadette's). He moved to the presbytery (current Parish House) in 1959 remaining until retirement in 1989. Fr Joe died on 1st February 2004 and is buried in Castle Hill Cemetery.
