Upload Files
Note: These instructions are for website that were originally setup by OurParish.org
Go to the "Control Panel" and then to the "File Manager".
when you open the file manager it should automatically take you to where your website is within OurParish.org.
files that are not webpages are normally under a folder called media find the folder where you want to upload the file. if you can't see the folder it might be under another folder.
To open a folder click on the plus symbol
on the left. to select the folder and see the contents of the folder click on the folder 
or the name of the folder.
Example:if you want to upload a new image you should put it in the media folder here:
but if you need to upload a newsletter then it might be wise to put it under the news folder.
Note: there might be other media folder that have a specific type of files. there might be a media folder under the folder "about us" that contains the images of people that work with you. |
Once you located and selected the folder where you need to upload the file click on "Tools" and then on "Upload".
The following screen should appear

Click on "Browse" so you can locate your file on your on computer. you should be familiar with this window. once you locate the file in your own computer click on "Upload" and after a few seconds it should be on the "File Manager".
this file can now be used in any of your web pages for people to view or download.
